Hi Junior
Sparks!
How is your
winter going? During this time of year when you are busy keeping warm
while snowboarding, sledding, tubbing or just being around the house we
must not forget safety.
- When participating
in any extreme sports remember to wear a helmet, knee and elbow pads.
- Make sure
you sled only on snow-covered hills that are free of rocks and stumps
and far from streets or traffic.
- Buy a
sled with a steering mechanism to help avoid collisions.
- Make sure
you always sit upright on the sled or toboggan. Lying on your stomach
increases the risk of injuries.
- Ski or
snowboarding remember the safety
codes.
- Look out
for Winter
Dangers to Your Pets.
- Frostbite
and Hypothermia
are two of the biggest cold related killers.
- Subtle
dangers of winter sports.
- And always
when riding in vehicles don't forget to buckle
up.
